I’m glad I purchased them. The price was high for me, it took months for me to decide to buy. I hope they last a long time. Chickens are happy, I’m happy
I’ve raised backyard chickens for 30 years. This is the most amazing and brilliantly functional feeder I’ve ever seen. There is no feed loss at all, and it takes a whole bag of feed at once! I can’t believe it, I love it! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed, I promise.
Been using my new feeder for about 2 weeks now. Love it. Chickens seem to love it, and my wallet will love it. No waste. Took my birds about two days to approach it, but once they did it worked great. No wasted feed on the ground after two weeks of use, and I mean none. No feed at all on the ground. Just filled my feeder with 50 pounds of feed about two days ago. I have twenty birds feeding out of it, and it looks like the 50 pounds is going to last a lot longer than I expected. I'll have to keep you posted on that. Anyway, great feeder, I love it, wish i had found you sooner. Thanks for a great product.
Works great for our ladies. Nice to not have to check food daily. Feel like it will keep rodents out for sure.
Had a metal Grandpa's Feeder, but it was too noisy with the banging metal every time they used it, so returned it and ordered this. So quiet. No noise. The only negative of this feeder is that a lot of pre-mixed feeds have a high content of dust/supplements that collect at the bottom, and you have to dig it out with your finger, as the hens are going to dig it out. We tried to transition the flock to layer pellets, and they did pull out a fair amount of the pellets and throw them to the ground in search of the grains from the previous grower feed. So, I wouldn't call it no-waste. Hens have no problems using this. So far, very happy with this design. Can go away for a few days and they can feed themselves! We still supplement their diet with live mealworms we raise, grass/greens, and kitchen scraps every day. Note: we used a sledge hammer to pound in the base.
Honestly at first thought it was over priced and didn't know why I was considering it. Now that it's here I feel like haven't done the exact math but feel like I am saving a ton of chicken food. Rain proof. Easy install. Holds a bag and a half of food so really helps keep the true up keep down. I am a fan
The coopworx feeder has solved my problems with mice and house sparrows, great feeder and easy to fill. Well designed, thank you!
Excellent addition for a low touch coop system with 80lb capacity. Our pullets have no problem reaching their feed.
Looks great. Is very stable. Should be quite rodent resistant. Functions as designed so far.
Resides under a covered run so no experience with water resistance.
No wasted feed!
So far this has been an exceptional feeder. I have loved the fact that mice and other rodents can't get into it. I also haven't seen the wild birds attempting to eat out of it either. The chicken seems to love it. The only thing I have noticed is the chickens still seem to be able to pull the pellets out and then deposit them on the floor of the coop. Overall I love the feeder.
These are high quality feeders and the customer service is top notch. We needed something that withstands the weather in Iowa and would allow us to leave for a week at a time. These work perfectly!
After buying the CoopWorx feeder, we decided to try the waterer as well. We couldn't be more pleased with the results from both the feeder and the waterer. No wasted food on the ground and the water stays pristine with no junk kicked up into it like our previous several waterers. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and it works as advertised! We're happy and so are our chickens.
We haven't had to replace any of the Feed Ports yet. I don't anticipate that for quite some time. They are well made and I have checked and they are easy to change when we need to. Excellent product.
Again we have been using the Water Silo for about 1 month. Holds plenty of water, keeps it clean and the chickens learned to use it. The shape keeps any varmits out just like the Feed Silo. The same tidy and neat appearance. Excellent product.
We have been using our Feed Silo for about a month now. The Silo is amazing in several ways. ABSOLUTELY NO WASTE, maybe 1/4 cup in the whole month, maybe. Food is kept dry and clean. The chickens seem to like putting their heads in and eating. I have noticed that they will stand there for some time eating and never back up or raise their head. Because of the shape of the top and the location of the Ports for eating there is no way that any varmit can eat out of it or stay on top of it without falling off. My wife would be very upset if I put a picture of here Chicken Palace on the internet but they also look very tidy and neat also!!
