I’ll never buy another feeder

I just bought a second unit so I could go on a longer vacation. I just need someone to make sure my girls have water and collect eggs. We call it the Sputnik and we love it!!

Hi Christine, I am glad to hear that 'Sputnik' is helping you take a longer vacation! Happy travels, Tom

Over the years (since 1998) I have had every kind of chicken feeder and waterer you can buy. They are okay but require a lot of attention to keep clean and constantly making sure that there is feed and water in them for the girls. If I went to the lake for a week I had to get someone to take care of the feeders. Well, I just recently got back into the backyard chicken business. Well I ran across a COOPWORX video on YouTube one morning and was really impressed so I decided to check their website. After doing a little research I was sold. I went with the Large COOPWORX Silo. I received it June 23rd and put it in the chicken yard, filled it up for the girls. They were eating out of it within 5 minutes!!! I was worried that the feed would get wet when it rained but decided to leave it out in the open and find out. Well, it has been 7 weeks and we have had several thunderstorms since then. To my surprise no rain got into any of the 8 feeder holes around the bottom or inside the Silo, feed stayed completely dry. I have to say that this is the BEST poultry feeder hands down!!! I put 50lb bag of feed in it and don't have to worry about the girls running out of feed. It stays clean and dry. I love the adjustable legs so as the girls grow taller I just adjust the legs so they can reach the feeder holes and not rake out any feed on the ground. No more wasted feed. I have to say that the design is the best on the market. I rarely do reviews for products I purchase but I felt compelled to do a review after several weeks because of the quality and design of the COOPWORX Silo. It may be a little pricey but in my opinion it will pay for itself (no more wasted feed and no labor for cleaning) it's worth every penny. Great Job and thank you Kate and Tom for coming up with the ULTIMATE FEEDER !!!!

Hi Rodney, thanks for taking the time it leave a review. Kate & I are excited to hear you are so happy with your CoopWorx Feed Silo! All the best, Tom

Great Feeder

I'm very happy with this new feeder. I love the fact that I can put about 80 pounds of food in. Feeds my 25 birds perfectly.

Hi James, thanks for the feedback, I am glad to hear your CoopWorx is working well with your 25 birds. Please let us know how much savings you see with the feed. Cheers!, Tom

Love it!

I can't find adequate words to express my satisfaction. It's a but pricey, yes, but well worth it. It is easily accessible for my ten two-month old pullets and they have adapted well to the easy access and ability for many to eat from it at the same time. They flock to it when the coop door opens in the morning (even though they have a smaller feeder in the coop with them). It's sturdy and does in fact cut down on spillage and waste. I think I'm going to try the waterer, too!

Hi Eddie, that is great to hear, thanks for taking the time to let us know how it is working for you. Please tag us if you post any videos of you CoopWorx in action and we will be glad to repost. All the best, Tom
