The chickens learned how to use it in a day. Set up was quick and easy. Water stays clean and now i can finally stop worrying about the chickens running out of water or their water leaking out from their previous set up on hot summer days in Texas. I was worried it was too tall but even my 8 weeks chicken can reach it
This is my third waterer purchase. I have three coops with 1 in each run. We just finished our breeding pen so I wanted one in there. This is great for the person wanting clean water and not having to add water every day! This is so great when you want to go on vacation or if your unable to get to your coop for some reason..,

So easy to fill and clean. My chickens started using it immediately, within seconds. Even my silkies don’t have a problem reaching it. It’s perfect and has made my life SO much easier! I have ~40 chickens and this lasts me a while before I need to refill. It has stayed so so clean as well which is amazing!!!! I’ve only had it a month but it has been well worth the money. I will eventually get a second one when I get more chickens.

I love the product and design (waterer) but having a hard time teaching my chickens to use it
Hi Jim, You can usually toggle the nipple pins to add some water to the small cup at the bottom of the water port and they will drink that and out ot curiosity one or more of the chickens will peck at the shiny stainless steel pin and figure it out. Once one gets it the rest should follow. You can also try temporarily removing any other water source to see if that helps.
Once in a while we will have a customer who's chickens just don't figure it out.I will be glad to issue a full refund if you decide to reurn it.

It is great in the summer time. But in winter the nibbles keep freezing.

I am sorry you are having a problem with you water silo freezing in the winter. Have you tried using a deicer in the winter yet? I didn't see where you ordered one from us, but the Farm Innovators 250w H-49 does a great job of keeping the water from freezing.
