How it started — a note from Kate Carter
About How and Why
Hi, I'm Kate — my dad and I co-invented the CoopWorx Feed Silo.
After I moved to Northeast Ohio and started raising backyard birds, feed waste and winter spoilage became a constant fight. DIY fixes helped, but they didn't solve it.
So Dad and I teamed up with industrial designer Brad Forest of Idea Logic to rethink the traditional chicken feeder.
Dad — Tom Carter, owner of EXPOGO Displays & Graphics, Inc. — has been inventing products for over 30 years. In our family we invent the things we wish existed. CoopWorx started the same way: a feeder that would finally stop the waste and make coop life easier.
Today CoopWorx is making coop life easier for thousands of customers across the country — less hauling and cleanup, more time with the birds. Chicken math made easier. Let us do the same for you — save time, save feed, and get your mornings back.
