No problems with the covers, they fit the silo ports and prevent insects from entering. My issue is with the silo itself. It works great and holds a good amount of feed, I just wish it was easier to clean. Because of the plastic insert at the bottom of the silo, it makes it difficult to remove all the feed by simply turning it upside down and shaking it. I have to use a shop vac to get into the nooks and crannies, and after washing I have to get in there with a cloth to absorb the water that also can't be removed by turning the silo upside down. But overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I was hopeful for the covers to keep raccoons out and it did for two nights, but they broke in on the third. I think they would work well to keep rodents out. I’m hoping that Coopworx will create a cover for the whole feeder that can easily be taken off and on.

This feed silo takes the daily chore out of feeding the chickens. All around quality! Feed port covers are a must. I rotate the covers every few days to keep the feed always moving.

I have received the ports covers really fast. I just think you should include the ports when people buy the feeders.
