Finally - It Worx!

Received the 40 pound silo for our six hens. Within a couple of days they got the hang of it and now we have seen the seed level going down with little waste from picky peckers. A win for the backyard chicken.

Feed silo

Took the girls no time to get used to the silo. I like the convenience....don't have to carry feed every day! Thank you for such a wonderful invention.

Hi Linda, thanks for leaving the review. it is always great to hear from happy customers! I hope you and your chickens enjoy it for many years to come. Happy Thanksgiving. Tom

Wow

Love this feeder! The hens took to it right away and live how they can’t pull all of the feed out like they did with their old feeder! Also love the volume of feed it holds. Love it!!

This SILO is great.

The chickens love this silo. We have a Grandpa's Feeder which works great but the Chickens love this silo over it. It appears they are more comfortable with the SILO than the moving parts of the Grandpa's Feeder. The chickens hangout at the SILO as if it were the water cooler; you know the place to rub elbows with the bigwigs, hang out with their co-chickens, and of course, keep up with recent gossip. It is kind of silly though since they all live in the same coop. Like I said both feeders work well but the SILO is preferred by 8 out 10 Chickens. No mess and all fun. Cheers

Great Feeder

My chickens seem to really enjoy this feeder. They don’t waste their food like the other feeders we have had.
I like how you can lift the feeder higher as the chickens grow or if you seem the wasting food just lift it higher. Very easy to put together.
