Feed silo didn’t for me because I have a very large flock. The water silo is definitely a game changer.
Really happy with this wall-mount feed and water combo. It’s sturdy, well designed, and easy to fill. With our expanding flock, we needed more options for feeding and water. Getting the height right on these was a little tricky with girls ranging from big Brahmas to standard-size hens, but we found a happy medium.
It took the girls a little while to adjust since they were used to their stand-up feeder and waterer. After the required period of suspicious staring and chicken investigation, they’ve figured it out.
Overall, a great setup—and officially chicken-mom and flock approved! 🐔❤️
I absolutely love the silo. I was initially hesitant to buy it because of the price. But my hens were wasting so much feed that I reasoned I would actually save on the long run. And I was right!!!! I haven’t seen any waste at all!!!! And the mice seem to have gone else where to find their food!!!!
Hi Carolyn, We're thrilled to hear how much you love the silo and that it's helping reduce waste and keep mice away. Thanks for sharing your positive experience! Tom
I bought the silo thinking it would limit access for rodents. It did not. Whatever was getting in there was actually chewing up the silo from the inside out. A coop worx representative suggested sending a taller post (I have big chickens). I received it in just a few days. That did help the problem. They are now sending a replacement silo. I couldn't be more pleased.
Hi Charity, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. We're glad the taller post helped and that you're pleased with our service. All the best, Tom
Works great. Keeps feed dry. Very little waste with layer pellets. Great for filling your feeder before vacation, great peace of mind knowing your flock has plenty of feed while you’re away. Makes life easier for your interim flock keeper. Couple this with the 8 gallon waterer, and chicken keeping gets MUCH less time consuming. Initial investment pales in comparison to how well these feeders/waterers work.
Hi Eric, thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad the silo and waterer are making chicken keeping easier for you. Happy to hear it's providing peace of mind and reducing your workload. Thanks for choosing CoopWorx! Tom
The feeder itself seems to be solidly built, and holds a good quantity of chicken feed. It's not as waste-free as I hoped, as the chickens still scoop out the feed with their beaks and get a bit of it on the ground (although not nearly as much as my previous feeder). The port covers I purchased don't fit snugly into the ports, but enough to keep insects out. I've only had the feeder for about a week, so time will tell if it holds up to the elements. So far, I'm satisfied with this purchase.
Hi Mike, thanks for taking the time to leave your review!
f you can try raising the height of the feed silo another notch so that it is almost head level to the feed ports it should stop them from dragging feed on the ground. It they have to reach for it a little bit it makes it harder for the chickens to waste feed.
Please let me know if this ships. Thanks!
Tom

Love both feed and water tank. The feed container very sturdy and the chickens love it! No mess. As for the water container is super big. We bought the automatic water and it leaks. It needs a better regulated for more pressure. Frictions says 10 pounds of pressure so for us our pressure is higher . That the only negative. We have to shut the water off after it fills up and trying to figure out what we need to do so it holds more pressure. Other than that, its Great 👍
Hi Elaine, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! I am sorry you are having a leak with your autofill valve. It sounds like there might be a piece of debris inside keeping the float valve from shutting off properly. Here is a link to a video that should help save the problem.

I have had this for a couple years now. If you keep chickens in cold weather, they cannot drink ice, this is what you need. 5*****
Hi Dave, thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad the deicer has been helpful for your chickens in cold weather. Thanks, Tom
For years we have wasted bags upon bags of feed that my girls throw out of their tube. I thought this was just life with chickens. This led to extra work cleaning coop/run and lots of flies.
Remarkably it seems a 40lb of food will last 2-3 weeks now and I was going through one bag per week! Little to no flies and no food on the floor! I was worried about the high cost but you will make it up in feed savings so quickly!
Hi Bradley, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I am glad to year your feed silo is saving you from wasted feed. All the best, Tom
Love how easy and clean it is. Looks great and installing it was a breeze. Thank you.
Hi David, we're thrilled to hear you are happy with your wall mount feed & water silos. Thanks for leaving a review. Cheers! Tom
Very pleased. Easy and aesthetically looks great. Thank you.
Hi David, hanks for leaving a review for your wall mount water silo. I am glad you are happy with the quality. Thanks, Tom
Well made and solid
Hi Laura, I am glad to hear you are happy with the quality of your feed silo. Thanks! Tom
Great feeder Well built. Works great for turkeys.
When I saw the one cost as much(including shipping) as the whole watering system I emailed and got an immediate response that the shipping was incorrect. I received the item no problem at all but in putting it back on and looking at the others which were tightened too tight(from the factory) three more broke and had to order more. They do the trick but thought they would last longer than this. They are not in the sun so not sure what made them so brittle.
Hi Michele, thank you for your feedback. We're glad the replacement water ports work, but sorry to hear about the durability issue. This is not an problem we have been seeing, but I will make sure they are not overtightened when we assemble them. Thanks, Tom
When I became a first time chicken mom, I purchased the standing Coop Worx feeder and waterer based off the reviews and durability of the products. I absolutely love them.
After I succumbed to the spell of that thing called chicken math, the standing feeder/waterer were sufficient. However, to provide multiple feed/water options for the larger flock, I knew exactly where to go. My run is 12x20 and I have the space for another set of standing but when the wall mounted feeders became available, I decided to try them out as they do not take up any floor space! The quality of these products is superb.
Hi Anna, I am glad to hear the wall mount water silo is working well for you. Please le me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Tom

Note on the photo, I think I mounted them a bit too low as the girls had an increased amount of feed under the wall mounted ones and never had feed on the ground with the standing feeder. Since this initial photo I have raised the wall mount and have had no issues.
Hi Anna, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that both the standing and wall-mounted feeders are working well for your flock and that you love the quality. Your feedback on mounting height is really helpful, and we're glad you adjusted it for the best results. Thanks again for your support and for being such a wonderful customer!
The concept is good, but the ducks and chickens have a hard time accessing the feed. Also, cannot control the flow of food as advertised
Hi Brandon, I am sorry you are having a problem with your chickens and ducks accessing the feed, that is not an issue we normally have. Can you give me some more details so I can see what it happening with your feed silo? I will be glad to send a replacement if something is not functioning properly with your feeder.
Please feel free to give me a call on my cell at 910-233-0502.
Thanks,
Tom
We have been using the feed and water silos for almost a year now and I can honestly say it saves me HOURS of time every week with feeding and watering my birds. I fill each feed silo about once a week and the water silos about every other day right now that it’s getting warm. Hopefully we get the new water line run this summer to reconnect the auto fillers because that was a major bonus!
Hi Suzanne, thanks for the review! I am glad to hear your feed & water silos are saving you so much time. That was one of our goals when we were designing them. Thanks, Tom
It took a while for the chickens to get used to it. We've had a problem with layer feed being about a 1/3 of it being crumbles. The crumbles clog this feeder. We didn't realize how much food was being wasted until we got this!
Hi Lawrence, I am glad to hear you feed silo is saving you on wasted feed. Please let me know if you are still having a problem with the feed hanging up. Thanks, Tom
Excellent quality and worth the cost. I like that it saves space and also it does not allow light to get through which keeps the water fresh. Highly recommend.
Hi Brittany, thanks for letting us know that you are so happy with your wall mount feed & water silos. Thanks, Tom
These are totally worth the cost. Great quality, easy to hang and no waste so far. Highly recommend.
We switched to the Coop Works feeders and honestly…they’ve been worth it. Feed stays off the ground, there’s way less waste, and I genuinely feel like the chickens are eating better because the feed stays cleaner and dry. Huge improvement over the chaos-and-scratch-buffet situation we had before.
The only thing I’d request not feeder related: I wish the water systems came in larger gallon sizes and had cup-style drinkers instead of nipples. My chickens collectively share one brain cell and would absolutely never figure those out.
Overall though, super happy with the quality and design. Definitely one of the better coop upgrades we’ve made.
Hi Priscilla, We are working om a new drinking cup design that will be available in a few weeks. I will let you know when they are available. You might want to look at the optional autofill valve. You just connect it to a garden hose and it will keep your water silo full so you don't ever have to fill it manually, Thanks, Tom
It is definitely pricey, but the quality reflects. This is not an eye sore in my coop and stores so much feed (like a good 2-3 bags of feed at once)
Hi Melissa, Thanks for laving a review. I am glad to hear you are so happy with your feed silo. Thanks, Tom
I’ve been researching various brands because we’ve had a severe rodent issue since having chickens. Coopworx was the best option and now that we’ve had it for a few weeks, it has been amazing. The design prevents rodents from accessing the feed along with reducing waste with the chickens and automating the feed. It has made my life easier and more efficient. The customer service is also excellent, very communicative and helpful.
Hi Leona. I am glad to hear your feed silo is saving you on feed waste! I hope you and your chickens enjoy using it for many years. Thanks, Tom
I really love my waterer and the test drinking cups. Really anxious to get more cups.
It is best to use the nipples and just a couple of watering cups in the winter tho as the cups freeze over but when it is not freezing out, the cups are wonderful for the chickens. I would recommend always keeping a couple of the nipple waterers on throughout the year tho so the girls won’t forget how to use them when freezing weather comes around again. 5 stars!
Hi Diane, Thanks for the comments. I am glad you are happy with your water silo. I will let you know as soon as the new water cups are available. Thanks, Tom
